I honestly like it, but as a miser, I can't continue reading as it's either MTL (which will make me want to rip my brain out) or paying to unlock chapters.I find the FL quite likeable. She has her strengths and weaknesses, and she knows how to logically convey herself and protect her honour when she is falsely accused. Rather than the perfect cold beautiful genius, she is much more relatable and real. The ML is also likeable. I like the way he supports FL because of FL's kindness towards him, and their relationship is quite harmonic. Although, as far as I've read, no romance has happened as Spoiler
he hasn't yet revealed his identity of the late Empress's son and the FL still thinks he's her blood-related brother,
[collapse] I like the way they both treasure each other and clearly show it.There are, however, some inconsistencies, or rather, strangeness in the plot. The FL's system barely ever appears even though it's a key component to FL's success, and the plot sometimes acts like the FL also experienced a past life as the original body owner, yet claims that she only transmigrated to this world from another. It's somewhat confusing to read, as I keep questioning what I already know about the book. The FL's family is quite annoying though, especially her fake sister who knows nothing but to cry and feel inferior to FL instead of making any real effort to become a more skilled person, and FL's mother makes me frown in frustration a lot because Spoilershe is truly, utterly biased and yet she blames the FL every time for 'talking back to her' when she seeks unjust opportunities from the FL for the fake daughter and when she blames FL for stuff she didn't do. I truly despise parents like this, but this just shows how well the author conveyed the character because in her complex character full of hypocrisy, she is truly and utterly human.
[collapse]The younger brother also becomes more tolerable as the plot progresses, because he is seven Spoilerand he doesn't know much, yet starts to learn to think logically and doesn't just act on his emotions like before.
[collapse]All in all, it's a decent read, and I would recommend it.
