This is a really good romance story. While the ex is somewhat pitiful because he genuinely loved the MC, he completely deserved being left behind. Over their 9-year relationship, he failed to provide MC—who came from a divorced family—the reassurance she needed about their future. MC gave him plenty of chances to step up, but he never did. He didn't even get to know her family, and during the two years she worked in his family's company, he never introduced her to his father (the CEO) and to other employees properly.The romance between MC and ML is sweet, and I appreciated how level-headed and strong the MC is in both her career and love life. She's decisive and great at her job. I wish the parents had more spotlight, as they were fun characters. I didn't read the extra stories, so I might reread this in the future. The beginning was emotionally gripping, and I felt every bit of MC's sadness. However, it did get a bit boring toward the end. The story has no challenging antagonist. I binge-read it in a day and overall enjoyed it.
