I had to pause because I kept getting more and more uncomfortable with the hints of alcohol ab*se that slowly ramp up to obvious addictive behavior. The story sounds pretty lighthearted overall but maaaan MC is obviously unwell.

This is beautifully translated but I kept coming back to check for warnings besides the su*cide one.

I know we're supposed to get a happy ending. And this is mostly about recovery. I just wasn't expecting to get hit by realistic depictions of depression and addiction used to cope. I've read worse tragedy but it's usually done in an unrealistic setting that makes a few TWs negligible for me most of the time.

I'm also used to proactive and healthy MC's. I loved the MC here but I really wasn't enjoying myself reading him ab*se himself and his health. No fault of the author or the story. Just that I'm not in the right mindspace I guess.
