Complete (100% read) Highly Recommended, Reader Discretion Advised for detailed descriptions of severe depression, self harm and attempted su*cide. It is a happy ending and honestly a fantastic description of what mental illness recovery looks like, down to the med side effects, I just dont want anyone to read this without knowing that it gets MUCH worse before it gets better. Gu Qingchi is a fascinating character to me. I absolutely love reading characters who truly embody the "Flower Vase" trope, and not only is Gu Qingchi God's Favorite, he also comes with crippling depression! He's genuinely such a compelling MC to me. The rest of the cast is very well fleshed out and the overall plot went absolutely nowhere I predicted and each twist made the story THAT much more bittersweet. I highly recommend this read (provided you are ready to cry) ~bunni
