MC feels like a religious fanatic, self righteous one at that. Author writes like he is writing a religious text. This is right, this is wrong. As if even a black and white world can exist, yet because of contrast we know in black and white world there is still grey.

MC is supposedly some super badass but in reality he is in fact dumb as a bag of bricks. It honestly feels like its completely on the author. MC will think back and say oh I am doing this wrong. But repetitively continues to make same mistakes over and over and over. Fact is MC is dumb, but author keeps trying to make him into this intelligent character but MC is supposed to be smarter than author which is just not possible when author doesn't seem to know how to do it.

In terms of perspective in first "arc/season" you get a small bit of "good" and "evil" perspective. It mainly focuses on "good". But maybe its because "evil" is just not given enough time to explain itself, "evil" side of things make sense. Yet "good" where we spend most of our time reading about just isn't logical at all. And by this I mean story makes almost zero sense. It is like an old movie or cartoon where villain traps MC then proceeds to spill the beans and hero repetitively escapes and "defeats" the evil. Just so that next week or next movie it can happen again. When everyone is displayed as genius level masterminds this just gets annoying really quick. Feels like author is a child and were supposed to be their parents and just nod our head and laugh ignoring how terrible story is not coherent at all without shutting off your brain.
