Pros The novel is easy to listen to - the grammar is good and you don't feel like you are reading a translated work. Not a typical Japanese novel - after reading a ton of novels, it doesn't have the tropes that ruin most par novels. Not an emo MC. No face slapping or overreacts by killing everyone. You can say hes a bit beta for not fighting for his right but you can't argue that what he did was a wrong decision.

Cons Nothing really interesting going on so far. Story seems a bit convoluted. Everyone just seems to play their role.

Overall I think its too early to judge this novel. You feel like there could be something there but it hasn't been shown yet. Better than par so I give it a temporary 4 stars.
