The title, synopsis, and first chapter of this story feel like an almost exact copy of The Extra’s Academy Survival Guide, but the overall tone is very different. If I had to summarize it I'd say this story is like that one but on hard mode instead of easy. For example in this story people in general are a lot more spiteful. Usually with this kind of premise the transmigrated MC just has to deal with a bad reputation, but the heroic characters aren't likely to actively seek revenge. In this story though, people hold grudges. Some of them just do slightly mean things to the MC while others try to ruin his life.While the MC isn't totally helpless he's honestly pretty close for the first fifty chapters or so. It takes a while for him to unlock magic. Now he sort of has ways to defend himself but early on in the story he pretty much just had to endure. Some of the reviews call him a pushover for that but in most of those situations it didn't really feel like there was more he could reasonably do.Overall this story isn't bad but it is the kind of story that can be frustrating to read. People typically read isekai fics for wish fulfillment but this story genuinely feels like the world is out to get the MC a lot of the time.
