Pretty good, just a BE for two of the side characters, the second ML and his ancestor. Spoiler
The ancestor lost his lover to ML father, got punished by the righteous sect, got mind-controlled to kill ML's father's men, r*ped for more than a decade/had to accommodate Su Yu, he ended up committing su*cide, which was very sad.
[collapse]HE for everyone else I guess. The bickering between the couple was cute. There's lots of discrimination and h*mophobia in this novel, which I guess is more realistic given the world building. Despite being the most beautiful person in the world and very knowledgeable (he's actually great at formations, smart and kind), the MC didn't attract lots of admirers or something, instead he received hate because he was a beautiful man. Which I think was pretty different from other novels. The ML besides being arrogant with a bad temper, does a lot of good deeds, saves righteous cultivators, in order to protect the MC, but the righteous sects still treats him like the worst villain ever just because he's a demonic cultivator. All in all, there's nothing to actually like about the righteous sects, they are real tr*sh. The demon sects are interesting though, such as the He Huan sect and the ML's sect.
