This kinda reminds me of 2HA/Dumb husky and his white cat shizun. But the vibes is sooo little bit because the ML is as such a lover who is dedicated and kinda dumb fool like Mo Ran at some point. He loved MC from the beginning until my current progress (c79) dedicatedly. On the other hand, MC is different from Shizun/CW and just have the similarities in willingness to protect their dumb lover.I just hate Su You. Spoiler

[collapse]cough* bed scenes, cough* extreme smooth description. Not so embarrassing but just yeah, so sweet. Cough*As for the storyline. Not bad. They progress in love and challenges in plot as it diverts hand in hand. And the original ML&FL of the novel have almost zero contribution in plots.I was hoping that the author at least put Xi Zihe spotlight roles or plot proving he's the protagonist of the novel, he looks so forgotten and reduce to BG char. Yun-shixiong maintain his second ML role and participated in most of the plot which is very good. Villain ML is now the protagonist because the world revolves on his story.
