Night’s Nomenclature Chapter 968 Discussion

Good novel but I recommend to read author previous work first ("the first order") to get some context on the world story. There are character from previous works that olay active role on the plot.

I'm reading raws so I can't comment on translation.

Background:

• MC is like machine, have crazy memory and computing ability.
• There's outer and inner world. Outer world is like paparel modern earth. Inner world is the post apocalyptic world from author previous work "the first order" 1000 year later. MC and friends start from outer world as students.
• People from outer world are being transmigrated to inner world by taking over body with same name and same face. Feels like online world transmigration novel at first.
• All transmigration is done all at once and there's premeditated time for every session, ad while transmigrating, the opposite world time freezed

What I like:

• Compared to other web novel the character here is more complex and not so one dimensional.
• The setting is very unique, there are multiple way to power up not just cultivation or genetic enchantment.
• It's power writing novel but not in a bad way. There are philosophical messages author ant to convey, but it's not executed in a cringe way.
• Character actually smart. Other reviews said inner world people react with little sense when people around them get their body snatched by outer world people. This isn't true at all. The connection between 2 world is a deep topic on this novel. Later inner world people even counter attack and use this mechanisms to assassinate or even transmigrate themself to outer world.
• If you read author previous work, this is actually much more enjoyable because you will appreciate the connection with the setting more.

What I don't like:

• Racism. It's still barely acceptable for me in early part, but later part it gets really bad. The racisms itself don't even feels natural, like who the f use the term "asian monkey". I'm okay with racism that based on plot. But many here are so forced and ignorant.
• There are many female introduced to MC that doesn't go anywhere. Right now MC focus on 2 of them, and at least there are sign of romance.
• Its conflict after conflict. There's some calm period but it cound use more of them.
• You can read this, but from my opinion you need to read "the first order" first before reading this to get full enjoyment.
