I don't like this. Part of that reason is because my hopes (that were raised bc the translator made a point of equating the naming conventions to Chinese novels and language, and made me hope that the author as well as these translators would have good taste) were dashed.

I read just far enough to get the general tone that the author would set, and was not impressed. I know that it's supposed to be a comedy (from the other reviewers), but I really feel that the bu*t of the joke is the fMC. For goodness sakes, the first chapter isn't even being told from the fmc's perspective but a (n) unmentioned (male) character.

The reason why I even clicked in, is because I saw the sweet spot words, Physically strong 'F'MC. Tf WHY do I have to start out the novel with an aggrieved younger brother 'siscon' pov??? And for those introductory chapters to be also detailing how *absurd* n *savage* the fMC is to the perspective of a male character anyway??

Like I said, my impression is that this so called comedy is gonna be centered on how absurd and idiotic the MC is in the eyes of others, when I expected that the comedy would be centered on the mc's clumsy romp through this world that would be seen as terrifyingly absurd in the eyes of others.

One definition makes MC a harmless chump, and the latter makes her a force to be reckoned with. But alas, what else was I expecting from Korean novels. Korean novels always nerf their female (supposedly op) characters like this.

I hope that my review is helpful for other prospective readers who see all those other positive reviews. 🙂 The translations are very good though, so if you're already used to the standards of Korean writing and their fmc's, then this is really a good one! 5/5
