translation looks great so far!! I've seen the other reviews of this novel which makes me quite sad, but hopefully it'll be okay. I think it's a matter of subjective opinion on whether you think a character is good or not. To be fair, I feel like a lot of historical romance novels require that male leads are: 1) possessive, 2) powerful, 3) always taking revenge on behalf of their loved one and 4) very ambitious/strong personality. Or But in reality, not all male leads or characters fit these traits, like men don't always have to be the most powerful, or strong, they can be weak, timid too! I think whether you like this novel will depend on your own preferences, but I'm more than willing to give this a chance!! Hopefully the bad reviews do not turn away potential readers as I feel bad for translator-sama : ((
