I'm confused by the high rating on this one. The first 8ish chapters are interesting as the story is set up, but then it just... grinds to a halt. The rest of the story is just system messages and the MC explaining them. There still isn't a plot and none of the characters have any character.All that happens is he somewhat improves his family's living situation. Maybe this one is just a slow starter and the story picks up later, but as of now it's incredibly boring. I thought I finally found a decent Chinese novel, so this is disappointing.The translation is good, the novel is not.
