I do not understand what is the reason for the dissatisfaction of such a large number of readers. This is a breath of fresh air for me, because the Chinese romance authors (if they deserve to be called that, seriously, do you girls have such low standards that you give them good reviews?) love to make stories with FL who is constantly ab*sed both mentally and physically, manipulated and etc by ML, and more often than not, to show that ML is RELATIVELY good (but it does not change the fact that he is a criminal, a r*pist, a manipulator who should be isolated from society), they add a second ML, which is essentially no better. But the author exposes SML as the only villain, as in Did the Love Interests Collapsed or something and just makes EVERYONE think that way, including MC (very non-one-dimensional, author...).This novel is not far gone, to be honest, there is Stockholm syndrome and other things that I hate, but As far as I remember, FL doesn't consider ML to be good or victims, just acts that way, so ok.
