I always feel bad when I see this trope of "replacing something that was handmade by someone without telling them, because it didn't seem very good". What's important in a gift is the intention, not the quality. Made me dislike the MC a little... Otherwise nice story, the romance did get out of nowhere tho. But the ML was great, especially when we get the story from his point of view.
