An okay novel. While I think it's a good read, it's just not for me. The original novel description--and the first twenty chapters or so--makes it sound like you're reading about a reincarnated girl having to deal with her overpowered vampire abilities. Unfortunately (for me anyway), after that it just becomes a milquetoast political novel (with one chapter even being titled "Game of Thrones" to drive the point home about what the novel is). I ignore existing reviews and tags when picking something up, so I would've known that this is a politics novel if I just looked, but I prefer going in blind. But even as a politics novel, I felt this like was weak. Charlotte doesn't really do anything on her own, she just uses her vampire powers to woo people with misunderstandings and then is dragged around by the plot while others do the heavy lifting. It got boring to read.Translation: The TL seems decent enough. Some grammar mistakes, as you'll commonly find in Chinese translations. The TL is inconsistent sometimes, but they leave a TL note when they decide to change something. But then they don't go back and change the previous translations to their new names, so it feels amateurish.
