I just want to cry because WHY DID I NOT SEE THAT TRANSLATIONS ARE NOT COMPLETEI'm the type of human being that absolutely hates reading incomplete translations.. It is my honest-to-god last resort. It pains me more when the story is so good. It's like a double whammy & now I'm left with a gaping hole in my chest.Onwards to MTL! YES, this novel's good. YES, it can be cliched. YES, there are face-slaps. YES, our MC is badass. I don't think ML is anything special, but he fits his archetype of being the cold, cunning, black-bellied male lead & I live for it. I'm unashamed to say it. I like the plot twists in the story too. Foreshadowing makes it easy to guess the full picture, but it was still enjoyable. This is like 80% personal bias speaking because there's just a lot of things that hit the right spot. Some may argue with my pink-filter, but to each their own. Ending does feel a bit too deus ex machina because how can it be that easy?? I don't buy it. But yay happy ending!
