It was an enjoyable enough novel. The writing certainly wasn't the most incredible writing I've read before, but it was decent enough. The characters were very likable, even if only two of the capture targets ever really get fleshed out... But also, despite any preconceptions, this isn't quite a harem novel at all. The MC essentially falls in love and sticks with him the whole novel. Which is fine! It's not a bad thing. Just don't expect a sort of "oblivious to everyone's affections" or "who should I pick" type of story. The story itself certainly could have benefitted from being longer I think and the ending almost feels rushed and slightly unsatisfactory. But overall I found it to be an enjoyable enough novel. Nothing groundbreaking, but good enough. Even if I wished there was more yandere elements... The manga is also very good and I highly recommend it!
