For a story about yandere male leads, there sure don't seem to be a lot of them in this story. It's really only the final boss, isn't it? Even Art is just kind of bratty. It comes as a pleasant surprise to me to see that the actual love interest is significantly less controlling than I've come to dread from many stories of this type. Lately it's like any time I see a story and think 'I sure hope THIS one isn't the love interest. Everyone else is fine, he's such a controlling and manipulative tool' then it turns out that THAT one absolutely is the love interest. However, Wolf is kind and supportive and his only trace of jealousy comes early in the story.Lily was much better than I'd been expecting as well. Don't get me wrong, I almost always like the heroine character in the villainess isekai when they're proper heroines and not the villain of the story. I just don't expect them to be complex characters in their own right. Actually, I kind of wish that 'Lycoris and Lily become lovers' joke near the end was real because the two of them have a great relationship. As far as criticism goes, I suppose the main problem is that it doesn't do much to stand out from the pack. Lycoris is more sensible and level headed than most girls in her position but it doesn't change things significantly.
