The MC is a hypocrite, he chastises others or tropes but he himself does the same thing. In one instance he complains about protagonists in stories always dealing with small ones then big ones. But he himself does it, instead of showing his full power at the start, and do the "thundering method" where he shows people the cost of messing with him he is attacking grade by grade from first grade then second then third. So instead of people always leaving him alone, the higher grades just come to mess with him.
