MTL and it was alright, bearable.

I found it exactly like The Way of the Empress.. Rinse and repeat of face-slapping by the MC/ML and it wasn't done in a satisfying way. Tbh both novels were fun to read in the beginning, but it eventually lost its flavour for me once I reach halfway. Too much gary stu-ness. And the element of having multiple characters be reborn one after another only to feel regret and whole heartedly support the MC is kinda meh.

Both MC and ML are interesting in their own right. I really like the way MC is portrayed, quite independent, decisive and was the one who pursued the ML himself. ML has his tragic circumstances, but he's pretty cute in his own way haha. Too bad there's just too much golden halo effect and the plot doesn't hold it well enough for me.
