I don't know why other people have rated this so low, but I can make a pretty good guess. In the first few chapters, it's established that the female lead lost her chance and now the MC is broody and edgy and shit. Always calling himself an "emotionless miner, " in reference to pretending to be immune to the female lead's charm only to get benefits from the system, but he folds pretty fast. The story's whole reason for being gets thrown out very early on and it just turns into the typical rom-com, but it also becomes boring. In one of the chapters, the author says in the notes at the bottom that he promises the face-slapping cliché he just added was going to be an isolated case and promised to stay away from clichés. A few chapters later, he introduced a tsundere older-sister who... was adopted. He was feeling very daring that day.I wasn't sure if the sister was added to make the first female lead more likeable or what the author was thinking, because in contrast, the sister is very unlikeable compared to the first female lead, and the FL wasn't that likeable to begin with.
