I'm laughing at all these people who dislike MC. I like his personality, it's unique. He's a hopeless NEET, who tries too hard to be like his dad. His take on charisma becomes annoying and sounds narcissistic, he's love for Emilia is shallow, but he goes on to love her genuinely. His so called wimpiness is a sign that he's still normal, it depicts his personality and enforces his self deprecation from the previous world. This has nice pacing, and the mere fact that many people are getting mad yet love Subaru's unique personality is proof of the author's brilliance. I've been investing a lot of time in this. Just showing a normal NEET, with no excelling abilities, randomly teleported to another world where violence is in every corner. I find a lot of his actions disagreeable and dumb, but seriously why are people HATING on it? It just shows a side of the MC, a personality, showing he is naive especially since as he was a kid he already developed insecurity, he's still stuck in that phase. I'm just gonna read and see more of this interesting dude, I don't know bout you people, but for me to feel a lot of emotions just reading one novel is awesome, I don't need to read a revenge, a tragedy, a shounen, a comedy, a romance, a harem, or any isekai with OP sh*t MC with bland personalities.
