I love this novel, I saw a number a people giving it bad rating because of the "non-con" part. For me those people completely disregard context and subtext. I understand not liking this aspect of the story and giving up on reading, but I can't accept that they use a fragment of the story to disregard the quality of the intrigue. It's amazing world building with multi dimensional characters, humour, wittiness, intriguing plots and a clear narrative thread. The main characters are for now consistent, their actions and thought process make sense. All in all, I'll just say, people that absolutely can't stand non-con, please abstain, but for people that can tolerate it when it's not over the top and baseless should really give this novel a chance.
