Finally the translation of the light novel got to where the web broke off. And what do we have? The author removed the funny conflict between Rutina and Roxanne and how the discipline was handled. Instead, he just slept with her almost as soon as they got home. That just sucks. So the paid novella was a loss compared to the web. Even the dialog with the Duke is impoverished during the destruction of Duke Selmar. Well at least they took away the girls' endless phrases that they repeated like parrots. And there's kind of a general decrease in grind.Still, it's a dumb harem novel with flat characters and an insecure MC. He may present himself well in the story, even with bigwigs like the Duke, but they feel like NPCs rather than real people. He doesn't reveal anything to his girls, not even that all professions have levels, not just Explorer. Imagine living with a lover for a long time and not revealing ANYTHING.Fanservice stays behind the scenes, we read how MC drools with lust just to go to a timeskip. The only upside is that it's not a bad way to kill time. The author doesn't let the hero go far beyond the dungeon to ruin the story, make it s*upid and implausible. So you read a leisurely slice of life story where almost nothing happens between getting a new s*ave.
