Slow. Insufferably slow.Nearly EVERYTHING is repeated several times. "I wonder if I shoud go to X to do Y?" - " A: Hey guys, should I go to X to do Y?" - "B: I'm not sure if you should to go to X to do Y" - "C: They always do Y in X, you should totally go!" - "B: Oh, I didn't know that they always do Y in X! We should go there!" - "A: alright, we'll go there tomorrow." - "Next day we went to X to do Y, because you should got ot X to do Y".Looks like a joke? But that's the storytelling in this novel. It's on volume 6 and MC still narrates everything about every battle just as he did in the first volume. MC earns money by dozens of thousands and still constantly overthinks about spending 100 extra coins on something.The most important thing about story is going to labyrinths to restore mp with "Mana absorption". Every single travel/action is padded by describing stopping by to do that.And then there is storyline itself. Major arc in volume 5 is buying some mirrors. There will be adventure? Conflicts? Characters? Events? Nope, half of volume of going to a city that makes mirrors to buy mirrors and deliver them to the buyer. With a bit of lore thrown in to be repeated endlessly.By the time I caught up with translation I was skipping several paragraphs of text without missing anything new. I'm inclined to abandon it and never return.
