Mediocre Story, mediocre translation.Every enemy character in this story is a complete moron who goes out of their way to throw themselves into the meat grinder that is the main character.Regardless of any prior scheming or plans, they drop it all and run headfirst to die pointlessly.The main character is also quite s*upid, for whatever reason he often fights physical attackers in close range despite being a mage and pays the price for it, albeit in a disappointing manner because this story has zero stakes and the main couple are never in any real danger.Now onto the translation, this is obvious mtl ran through an editor, names of people and things will randomly change multiple times in the same chapter with zero consistency. In one of the early chapters an enemy character swaps through 4 different names randomly throughout a chapter.The names of organizations suffer the same problem, the names will often go from a western name to a Japanese one again with zero consistency.Overall this is a disappointing read, the characters are all very dumb and the translation will leave you scratching your head.Edit: the rating stars didn't save my actual rating and I can't change it on mobile, so just know this is a 1.5 out of 5 stars.
