It was rlly good at the beginning and I cried tons Spoiler
The part where XXC stabs himself in order to not hurt the MC rlly got me. That one line that was like “He’d be willing to drink a drug that he knows is addictive, all for that one person to not worry” I cried so hard! It was kinda angsty and sad at the beginning
[collapse] but around chapter 150 or so the translation quality dropped to mtl level. The writing and translation before chapter 150 was so good! The translation conveyed the message fully and it was beautiful, I’ve cried at least 5 times. It’s kinda like filler-ish after 150 and the translation is pretty hard to read and doesn’t convey the lines as well but it’s still good just not that amazing to read anymore. Might change my mind later on after I finish the novel. I’m giving a 5 for the beginning of the novel, it was truly one of the best I’ve read.
