Some reviews told the readers to persist until 50 chapters before considering whether to drop it or not, but my threshold is chapter 33.This novel's kinda hard to read because we took FMC's POV and as someone who used to like and admire her character, let me tell you that I don't like her anymore. I wish I can copy-paste the paragraph that made me drop this novel and put it as spoiler but the website doesn't allow that so it's basicallySpoiler
MC's brother admonishing her for her scheme to marry ML while disregarding the family who loves her. She has been hurt several times (by her own schemes and sometimes to protect ML), threw her reputation to the mud, endangered her brothers' position, put the family in jeopardy and irresponsibly gave up her matriach position. The situation at court was also fraught with tension and silent danger so you can probably guess how blindly persistent, careless and uncaring she was about her family. I think she evem deserved a 'Shameless Porotagonist' tag.

So this important point is the threshold of whether you want to continue reading or not.This novel's hard pass for me and I'm not sure I'd like the ML enough to continue reading either since apparently he's the type to hit his infant son for existing.
