Everyday, the Demon Lord is Escaping His Marriage Chapter -- Discussion

If you want to read simple, almosy kinda no fuss xianxia novel, this is great novel. It's easy to understand only with mtl. Don't expect something intricate, but it made good for light reading.

I did suspect that the fall of Hua Che' maternal family might engineered by his Demon father as Hua Che did mentioned his mom's family was being killed by demonic cultivatiors as Hua Che's grandmother was actually cultivator so it would have been impossible for a simple soldiers to execute a whole family. I did expect Hua Mei'er to have a fiance as every other girl from respectable family, but indeed Xie Wanting as Hua Che's father did come off out of nowhere.

It's good story as far with the whole cold-hearted but actually truly loving Gong x Flirty laid-back but actually deep soul Shou trope goes. It was solid plot and small things actually did means something later on.

Some might compare Chu Binghuan with Lan Wangji...

but they definitely different kind of cold. Lan Wangji actually already realize and accepted his feeling for WWX, but let his family's teaching and rules to push him to be inaction. With Chu Binghuan, in the 1st timeline, he didn't even realized his feeling until he was trapped in an illusion of him & Hua Che lived as simple people, not cultivatiors, the would have many years of happiness, but by the time it was already too late as Hua Che already gone.

This novel is actually something easy too enjoy, no need too much thinkng.
