Non-Human Seeking Re-employment Chapter 139 Discussion

While it's not a bad read, I think that I feel pretty neutral about this series compared to other ones I've read as a new-ish reader. As some others have mentioned in their reviews, the stakes are non-existent as the couple is super OP. Usually that's not a deal breaker for me! There are lots of series that can pull off low-stakes, high fluff scenarios - but this was not one of them LOL. Unfortunately, this novel is done in a way that struggles to capture the reader's attention especially as we go through tons of arcs without a sense of anticipation or thrill. I can't remember much that stood out to me; The fluff is nice, though it doesn't stand out or really shine either. Towards the "end" (CG didn't translate the extra chapters so I am talking about CH 110-139 here) all the loose ends were tied up in a rushed manner, with our curiosity about the MC and ML's OG setting suddenly hand-fed to us by the author and thus also contributing to the lack of thrill or intrigue I felt throughout the chapters. I am usually a fast reader, however, this one took me quite a while to finish as I kept dropping and then picking back up out of boredom when I didn't feel like binging a new series. So I personally would recommend that people read other infinite flow options out there first! This is a novel that you'd read when there's nothing else you feel like reading or you do not want to get super duper invested.
