I don't think the translation is very good, but the bigger issue is there's just nothing going on. I stuck around for a bit b/c the main character is a scum bag and I wanted to see if that was going to lead to anything interesting.It didn't, at least as far as I read. I enjoy ruthless protagonists when they're done well, but this guy is just a moron. All these tools and resources and he just screws around with a couple women, no greater goal of any kind, pulling out some crap from his magic bag to solve any problem. It's just a small minded power fantasy by some demented weirdo.
