Being real, I dropped and hated it. I was hopeful that she wouldn't start falling back in love with his abusive ass, but she still did. She was so happy as a normal person, away from politics and being used as a tool by her parents and the emperor, or as a bird in a cage for the ML.

Man constantly berated her for months, sexually assaults her and she was aggressively fighting and pushing him away. And when he didnt get her attention the way he wanted, he kept her locked up in a room for months, while watching her fade from nonstop mental stress and ab*se. Cause hed rather have her dead so he can look at her, rather than her happy

Basically I hate him, the angst wasn't rewarding, and the book SHOULD have ended with her being happy at her church with the children. Don't recommend at all. Idk why I kept reading it after she was taken back to him for as long as I did.
