Honestly, I have no words to express how much I love this novel. Yes, the plot is kind of typical like the FL runs away from the ML after suffering a lot but the characters are so thoughtfully created and the emotions are so raw. I love this novel especially because unlike those crazy obsessed regretful MLs in stories like this who think the way to ask forgiveness is by locking up the FL or constantly meeting them to apologize and not giving them a moment of peace, this novel's ML actually has a brain though he made use of it too late. could be the scene where he finally finds her after searching for her like a madman but decides not to approach her because he saw how much at peace she was at that moment and he didn't want to take that away from her. Even if that meant staying away from her when he realised his feelings for her. Now this. This shows that he truly started caring for her. Heck, he even donated a large sum of money anonymously to the monastery, though that's the least he could do to make up for his mistakes but still.
[collapse] And omg Cedric is such a sweetheart. I absolutely love him. He's been with our FL through thick and thin & I appreciate him so much for that. Anyways, I rly rly hope she gets a happy ending because she deserves it so so much. Pls give this novel a shot if u like angsty stories with a lot of emotional pain and heart wrenching romance. Truly this is one of the best novels I've ever read. Also thank you so much to the author and also the translators for being so consistent with the updates. I so so appreciate the hard work and effort you guys put in. Please don't drop this cus I'm already so attached to it. Anyways I highly recommend this!!
