I've enjoyed reading this series. I'll update my review sometime in the future when there are more chapters.

• If you're looking for action filled BL novel, this is a good start.

If there were any critiques, I'd have to say this. The author has no idea how to write a seme protagonist as the focal point of the story.

The MC is supposedly Huo Xianfeng (Seme Protagonist) but in actuality, this is written in a way your normal pairings would go if the shou was the protagonist in other novels.

• What I mean by this is that Jiang Ci’s POVs are written as if he is the main character.

It's a bit jarring because you end up with narrative POV clashes constantly since the character roles aren't well defined.

I feel most people may get confused, narrative wise while reading this series.
