I've read 2 first arcs. In my opinion, the second arc is more interesting than the first one. It's funny as well. The first one was a bit boring, with some sweetness (dog food) here and there. Spoiler
In the second arc ML is a fierce general and MC is a gentle beautiful scholar. It's a funny contrast, considering that ML is MC's shou.
[collapse] Overall, I don't know how to rate the whole novel yet: for the first arc it's about 3, 7, but for the 2nd - 5!
