I kind of knew it was going to end the way it did but holy hell did that lunch me in the gut. Both the first hero and the MC really were heroes and made me feel a certain type of way. The ending got spoiled for me so I skipped to it and now I'm I'm need of recovery lol. This honestly is such a good story and recommend it to everyone. The MC has such character growth.Spoiler
him going from looking at what the hero woild have done to making his own choices because he learns to have his own wants. To be his own hero.
