The Abandoned Child Bride is a Koi Chapter Completed Discussion

The plot is cliche and simple. It’s good for mindless reading but otherwise not one I’d recommend.

I wanted to read a story with more impact about the Koi luck. But it was just something that let MC have smooth sailing while using her smarts.

There never seem to be a climax to the story. The ending also felt a bit abrupt. It felt like the author just got tired and wanted to quickly close the story. The lady chapter was definitely more a summary outline. Because it would have been a decent plot move and more satisfying if it was all written out - especially since it was hinted at earlier in the story. I guess the author didn’t want to write a whole conspiracy drama. Spoiler

As in with the whole switched identity. That would easily have been several hundred chapters. With palace politics and intrigue. And lots of face slapping

[collapse] The story only covers business startup and ML passing his first two exams. Honestly felt a bit perfunctory at the end.

So three stars for me. Subtracting for mediocre and rushed ending.
