Interesting plot concept. Anyone familiar of that particular villain lusting after the protagonist's heroines? Well that villain here is the protagonist of this novel and there's not much of a "hero" to oppose him. There's detailed world building and the MC, just like the title, is a pe*vert through and through.Regardless, I find the story interesting from the beginning yet cataclysmal as time proceeds. I will not talk about the r*pe and s*x elements since it is a debate of morals and people have different preferences for entertainment.I'll talk about the translations first
- Novel is set in European Middle Ages where feudalism is the most common type of government and magic exists. Now here's the problem: The dialogues contain the shadows of Japanese politeness in every conversation between the characters (i.e. Please). Nobles are deemed arrogant and commanding as it befits their position in office. The rampant usage of -sama, -kun and -dono when addressing a noble is so awkward it makes me cringe lol. Good sir, why not use appropriate titles on their named positions like Your Excellency, (My) Lord/Lady, Young Master/Lady. This isn't an anime that needs subtitles but a novel. Using japanese suffixes instead of titled prefixes makes their character underwhelming in that regard.
- World building is detailed, sure, but a lot of them is useless it doesn't fit the narrative nor does it forward the plot. Author writes about how MC does tea, so what? What's gonna happen next? Will he talk about MC's activities in the toilet? How he shits, how much water and soap he uses to wipe his butt? Anyone cares about that mundane details? It gets more boring as it goes on. There's talk about kingdoms and the like but there lack of talk on what MC's gonna do about it. It maybe titled as a lascivious story but why not him conquering lands side by side with the idea of him conquering women? What a passive protagonist smh.
- Romance.. Hahaha meh.. Will pounding the heroines into submission or raping them be considered romance? Lust and infatuation is misidentified as love. MC's harem were gained by utilizing his position and power. It's an unstable relationship and frankly, one that's not bound to last long.
