One of the few novels I liked enough to suffer reading through machine translations. The plot and world building are both great. The characters feel distinct and "real" with the MC not being the center of their world. Some of the strong suits of this novel are the noble politics and schemes especially in the later chapters. You get the feel that the author has put a lot of thought into it. I especially love how the nobles use implicit meanings and traps when speaking to each other.

The author throws the most extreme r*pe scene right in the beginning of the novel so if you can handle that then you can handle the rest of the novel.
