Don't search for logic in this story. One character can say or think one thing and its opposite in the same chapter.ML, who is a prince seems to be going everywhere without any guard, so of course every time he is attacked, it's one or two against dozens or hundreds and he has to send MC alone to run away. ML's halo, of course, makes him victorious every time. The ML's brother's magical appearance everywhere. Don't think of the number of days involved, his statut as a prince or the obtacles on the way.The Emperor doesn't seem to react to any assassination attempt on his son, even though ML is his favourite son.MC doesn't think anything about his subsequent tortures/beating by ML or his father. He's not particularly afraid, nor feels any resentment. Author says he's half dead, but don't fret some days of ointment and he'll be like new.The villain seems to suffer from personnality disorder because his treatment of MC is beyond understanding and always changing. And I could go on and on about the inconsistencies, but what I personally dislike is an MC who is particularly irked by someone who scared the ML's hand but doesn't care when he himself is beaten half to death. I dislike an MC and ML who love each other quasi instantly and without reason, put them first in anything, no matter how they're treated. Or ML/MC who have no consideration for other's emotion. Neither a ML who makes decisions for MC without asking and a MC who is discontent but doesn't say anything.
