There’s some good things about this novel and some bad. I’de say it’s 50/50, tbh. Unlike other romance transmigration novels the ML is not too overbearing or too pushy but he still lies about his identity and uses their business relationship as a way to intrude and ingratiate himself into her personal life, which I feel crosses a certain boundary of respect. For those reasons I’m not really fond of his character (also he’s too flirty and teases her a lot which is I think is cringey and gross). As for the fl, I really don’t enjoy how like all other transmigrator novels, the transmigrator rips off other peoples inventions from their own world and claims they’re a genius. Even if nobody has invented those methods or technologies yet it’s still unseemly to claim another person’s work as your own. She doesn’t even give it a second thought, and I actually believe she thinks she’s a genius like she’s claiming.Good things about this novel are that there’s a good amount of translated chapters and it’s overall not too infuriating compared to other villainess transmigration novels. But it would be nice to see more novels like ‘Kill the Villainess’ where the FL has a normal and traumatic reaction to being transmigrated and the creepy and hypocritical actions of the mls are exposed for what they truly are. Maybe that’s just me though.
