I enjoyed this novel purely because I heeded the warnings of other reviewers & shut my brain off.

The main couple is really cute, extremely shameless, insidious and humorous.

But I think the author lacks imagination. There are too many similar plots; if the antagonists use them, it's considered evil, but the main couple has no qualms repackaging these "clever" plots.

• Using shrewish families
• Leading someone to gamble
• The beauty trap
• Drugging and r*pe

It's genuinely irritating that all antagonists have an inflated sense of self, yet have no sense of cautiousness and actually fall for the simplest schemes, multiple times. It's equally aggravating that they are so s*upid and evil so you can't even feel sympathetic when the main couple retaliates with these vile methods.

You can read as far as your patience for the repitive plots and lack of morality takes you.
