I read the full story on a different platform. And loved it! I didn’t understand the 1 stars but I can understand different people have different tastes.

The main couple was seriously OP. I’m glad that there was no unnecessary misunderstanding miscommunication between them coz that would seriously spoil the story.

The author or maybe translator repeated certain descriptions and actions like “didn’t know whether to laugh or cry” alot which was the only thing I found slightly annoying.

I found that the reason they dragged out their revenges was to purposely bring their enemies up high before letting them suffer the pain of losing and regretting. Which was necessary and flowed with the story. The Shi family was described and I felt suffered less as compared to the Xiao family probably coz the FL died earlier and suffered less compared to the ML.

The main couple’s friends were also so funny and their face slapping and shamelessness was hilarious. I found myself laughing out loud a few times. I love their friendship. I liked how the lesser villainous characters turned to their side shamelessly which was refreshing.

Overall a good read worth giving it a chance.
