Director of a Suspense Film Chapter 35 Discussion

Honestly it's the worst thing I have read. This author might as well have said imma rip it off from other bl horror writers and bs the whole directors role.

First off the MC is not so bright and his logic it also not very logical.

Spoiler

Example A: Catching the criminal on his own when he has no idea what is on the criminal (honestly he was lucky he wasn't killed).

B: Deciding that it is fine to allow a ghost to eat another ghost for the greater good when nothing has been confirmed about the importance of that ghost in the movie!

D: Oh the ML will recognize my voice so I will use my special ability to escape!?

Secondly he is not doing his job as a director at all. Like he might as well go be a police officer no never mind he makes assumptions way to quick to be one instead he should just join the army since he is so protective and proactive in fact the writer could've just made him into an actor because literally you can make this story just fine that way but instead the author gives him the most useless system and useless college degree. Here is why I think the system is so useless.

Spoiler

one literally it gives no info on the movie characters the actors are to play and only leaves their actor background. Like how is that useful you have no idea who is playing who? Why do you think having the background info of your actors is any good? You might as well for go the actors background and actually give the character background instead! This way you might actually know how to direct this movie!

It gives powers that don't help direct the movie at all. Like what is hypnosis going to do? It can't even last an hour maybe that way you can actually use the actors to perform.

Here is the real kicker. Spoiler

He literally interferes with all the acts when he literally has no real role to play. He is given ultimate freedom and instead of trying to get to know the character in his movie he is shooting. He decide to assume and act with them and trying to save them but forgets that everyone there has more experience then him. Every time he makes an assumptions he f*cks up and he doesn't learn form this. I read up to 30 and jumped all the way to the end and all I can say is HOW?

He literally has no vision or direction of how to shoot a movie, all he does is runs around the place like a headless chicken while trying to complete the system scream factor and has zero understanding of the characters in his own movie and he somehow... ?!

Also the ML sigh, let me say I have read too many of this trope and it still makes me think. Ah, another one acting like he is a smart and cool/cold boss character but just another shallow dimension. Spoiler

Really think about it for moment who in the world meets MC and gets super interested in them just because of a background check. I get that he is bored but really? I'm pretty sure there are thousands of people just like MC a fricken orphan raised by grandparents, financially struggling and has good behavior but also understand the struggles of life.

Not to mention that he is described unrealistically. like, he is the mastermind pulling a lot of strings; Is a leader of two groups who is in conflict with each other (he creates the conflicts), hosts art galleries because he is a well known artist, is a professor, helps the police on criminal profiling, mentors a bunch of people and yet he himself doesn't think he is busy enough? Oh ya he so bored that he wants to mess with MC.

[collapse]The only way to possibly enjoy this work is to put it in the background because, this way you don't have to pay it too much attention and just tune in once and a while and you be like, wow he so cool and oh ya here come the face slapping.

I'll give props to the TL for their hard work and no other comment on it.
