I would honestly put 2.5 stars only but idk how to.As mentioned by DJRogue in an earlier review, the FL, Yun Chujiu is really shameless and arrogant. She seems to have a ‘golden halo’ like all other MCs best 100x as powerful. No matter what she does, she always manages to get out of it by being shameless instead of relying on her own abilities.Throughout the 600 chapters I have read, I can’t recall any of the chapters besides maybe the first few and the assassins part talking about her previous life as an assassin.Although I usually enjoy the ‘pretending to be a pig to eat the tiger’ type of stories, I didn’t really enjoy this one as YCJ just pretends to be weak to get more free overpowered things. She is always trying to trick things from other by claiming she’s too weak or some other reasons. She’s also really lazy. Many other cultivation novels I’ve read described the FL as lazy and not willing to purposely trouble others but the novel really brings laziness to the next level. YCJ is always letting others do things for her and she never bothers helping unless it’s to steal or trick stuff and is always acting like she’s the boss of everyone.“Her greed and lust for money had no end. She is le*d to the core with no bottom in sight, sworn to have love fortunes blossom all around her” is a very accurate description of YCJ. So far, the whole novel is just about YCJ trying to get money and defensive spirit tools and other good stuff as well as her getting into trouble (usually because of her greed) and either escaping, having someone save her or somehow managing to trick/charm/seduce someone to get out of the situation. She wants the gigolo (ML), Di Beiming, but at the same time is always flirting with other characters which gives me a bad impression of her.Everyone around YCJ seems to think that YCJ is the best and everyone needs to suck up to her and protect her and that she should always get the best. People around her (e.g. Feng Ming, a senior brother and her adoptive siblings) act as though YCJ being shameless and annoying is perfectly justified and is what she should be doing.At the start, the novel was still alright and DBC would often argue which YCJ which showed that YCJ was not all that omnipotent. However, after a few experiences, DBC realised his love for YCJ and decided to always be good to YCJ. By chapter 600, he like all the other characters who are not against her have become s*aves to her and her greed.It is also a really long novel consisting of more than 10, 000 chapters
