This was an interesting read. I came to read this after watching the Drama Hidden Love, which was adapted from Secretly, Secretly, But Unable To Hide It, then founding out there was a manhua???!!!??!!! That was adapted from the novel????????

Sang Yan's personality is totally different from what I expected from the Drama! However it also makes sense. He grew up arrogant and c*cky because he had everything in the palm of his hands, even when dealing with his little sister, lol. I love his big baddie exterior and soft warm arrogant interior. You may think that Sang Yan is an icy, expressionless character upon meeting him, but he actually wears his heart on his sleeve.

I only wish the author wrote his feelings out more! Sang Yan is only human and I don't feel like his negative emotions were captured well, seemingly overlooked because he always waits for his first love. Although Sang Yan is described as a cold character who's indifferent to everything, his love language is the polar opposite. He loves deeply and intensely (and comedically), and does so in such a lowkey way that it is hard to notice.

That's my take on this novel. It's a different take compared to his sister's love story, but this is still a light and fluffy read... with some graphic backstory but overall a cute and, did I mention arrogant (?), funny love.
