One of my favorite novels the past few months - always look forward to the new chapter release. The novel is primarily easy-going literary, food-themed slice of life with a slow romance in the background. If you're looking for a fast-paced romance or quick read, this is not it. Reading it feels more like slow simmering of soup until you're warmed up and satiated from the chapter. If this is up your alley, then I 100% recommend it.The translator Pure does a fantastic job and I think that's what really makes the story worthwhile. Not only are there links to the food and poetry mentioned, she also explains the subtle references in the playful banter between ML & FL. The translation is able to carry the author's voice and conveys FL's attitude towards life. I'm even thinking of following the author/translator's works after reading this novel!
