I'm writing this after reading Chapter 12. Despite the slow pace, the story is really starting to move along. He's gained his first familiar. From the cover art, I can see that he'll encounter probably at least one more. He's dual registering with the merchant guild and the adventurer guild because his pet brings back high-quality prey for him to cook and the leftovers can be sold to the adventurer guild. I think this story has a ton of potential. The translator just announced that they are dropping the series, though. Guess, this is another could-have-been, unless it's picked up.
