Wow, some of the reviewers are being weirdly harsh regarding this novel. No joke, this is probably one of the least problematic danmei I've read recently. The couple communicates, cares for each other, they have cute banter, the MC is sassy, the ML is not the typical cold and aloof type and makes a big effort to fit himself into the MC's life instead of forcing the MC to adapt to his lifestyle. The story is simple, sweet, and well paced.A lot of the reviewers seem to have an issue with how weak the MC is, but literally his character has numerous health issues that are difficult for him to manage on his own. Once he realizes he can depend on the ML, he starts depending on him heavily because he has this instinctive belief that the ML is always going to be there for him. Yes he's a small and frail little guy, but he's also cute and full of life. He loves hanging with his friends, trying new things, and living his life to the best of his abilities despite his health issues. He's also not a pushover and doesn't just let the ML have his way all the time and advocates for what he wants, and the ML often respects that. So yes, he's weak, frail, and often portrayed as a bit childish, but he's also funny and sassy. The ML is also super doting and caring and treats the MC like a little treasure.Overall, the story is cute and heartwarming, and it's an easy read. Some of the negative reviews really are overly harsh.
